Next time I need any major surgery, I’m calling my son’s school principal to make an appointment. What a great, and convenient resource that these teachers who barely make enough to get by, are spending their free time practicing their surgical skills. It is of course, common knowledge, that all teaching certificates require extensive medical education and surgical residencies. In other words- wtf is that guy talking about?!?!

Mark, when Trump speaks at his rallies, I usually just continue with whatever it is I’m doing because nothing ever changes, we’ve heard it all. This time, I wondered if I heard correctly? Trump was actually addressing the latest school slaughter. In the seconds it took for me to sit, once again, I was shocked back to the reality that is Trump. WTH was he talking about!?
I should have known when he spoke of kissing your child goodbye and sending him off to school because that act in and of itself is something he never experienced in his own childhood. There is no doubt in my mind he has never begun his day by getting up with his child in the morning, sitting for breakfast and having small talk about what may go on that day in school, making sure the teeth are brushed, lunch packed, treat added, and backpack ready before hugging, kissing, saying I love you sweetheart, have a great day and I’ll see you when you get home. I was foolishly expecting him to end his “Jimmy story” with some disdain for the unimaginable death that has loomed ahead for so many of this nation’s children, our children, and to express his commitment to changing our country’s laws on assault weapons.
Never did I expect this to be about transgender. And again, not one news source has mentioned this as being an outrageous statement by a person who is running for POTUS. This is not sound thinking - why is it not reported as the ramblings of a very impaired mind.

Imagine if you will, a parent sends their child to school. There is a school shooting and the politicians who allowed for enabling this to happen are held financially accountable. How helpful would your thoughts and prayers be to them? How long would their hands be tied to do anything then?
I agree with you, Brian. I think the politicians as well as the NRA should all be named in a wrongful death lawsuit for every child, every adult that has been massacred in school shootings. These can be and should have been prevented but for the NRA lobby buying the politicians. There needs to come a point where the life of a child has more value than the interpretation of the 2nd amendment protecting a citizen’s right to own assault weapons; weapons that did not exist when this amendment was passed. Why is there even a need to debate this issue.
I noticed that the parents are starting to be held accountable. I think they should be in some cases but when they are following the laws how can’t we hold those who make the laws accountable?
