People are freaking out unnecessarily- and I don’t think anyone who is worried about Trump changed their mind and suddenly thought he became a good candidate. Joe was behind the 8 ball 🎱 BECAUSE he doesn’t smoothly spout LIES the way Trump does, and that was a foundational fault in the forum. If someone can just lie throughout what is supposed to be a “debate”, what’s the point?!?! Trump didn’t have to do any preparation because he doesn’t have to practice lying and obfuscating, he’s a natural at it.
I want this Biden energy injected right intoy veins because despite the shocking debate, I have never been more proud to be a Democrat and I will vote for Biden/Harris with JOY!!!!¡
It’s as if all the people of all the world’s nations are standing around the top of the Grand Canyon. The people of the US are separated from all the others by a great distance but we can clearly see the others that are too close to the edges and we can see them jumping and being pushed off the edges to their deaths. We are scared. We are scared that in a few moments, that could be us. We are trying to find a way to avoid whatever is happening to them from happening to us. There is a lot we do not know, and that scares us all.
We are afraid, we are not desperate.
The one who benefits most from our fear is Donald Trump.
The people who benefit most from our fear are the wealthy, radical right, christian nationalists, and white supremacists.
They are not afraid because they are the bullies taking our lunch money, beating us up in the bathroom, and intimidating our teachers, parents, police, and judges. They only benefit from pushing us over the cliff.
They are not afraid because we have yet to stand our ground and show them that there are consequences for what they are doing.
We don’t need to change the minds of any voters.
We need to go to the polls and support the candidates that we know will hold the people accountable who threaten our peace, freedom and security.
We are the majority and we know if we work together, we have nothing to be afraid of.
FDR was right.
We are right.
We have already selected our leadership and we will not waver in protecting our people and our nation.
Tell everyone you know about Project 2025. Many people are not even aware of it. If implemented, it would dismantle the inner workings of US government.
I didn’t think it was terrible. Biden told the truth about what he’s done for the American people despite the utterly useless Republican leadership in Congress. Trump told a bunch of #TrumpLies and didn’t answer the questions. That’s what I saw.
The issue I have is not about Biden‘s performance. The issue I don’t need any more information on is the danger and idiocy of tRump. Am I the only one bothered by the fact that the Democratic Party has not been honest about Joe Biden‘s presentation. Not the presentation of his words but his cognitive decline. It was hard to watch. Obviously, his 82 years and the stress of holding the presidency has caught up with him. I am concerned that the Democratic Party Is not being honest with Democratic voters. I am very concerned about this as it is no different than the Republican party being dishonest. Truth is not an “either/or. There is a truth that we have to face. As Oliver points out debates are outdated. But what is not outdated is the truth. We’ve all had the situation where we’ve had to sit down and tell grandpa he can’t drive anymore. It’s painful. But it protects other people as well as grandpa. I’m not being mean. I just can unsee what I’ve seen for the last two years. The debate made it very clear, Joe Biden needs to step down. And if you’re going to respond and just be salty I’m just telling you that’s not helpful -I’m really asking for intelligent direction…I like Joe , but I don’t like what I know I see.
I still would like to know what happened. This was not simply a bad debate, it was a sea change for reasons I want to understand, as he will be president for ~4.5 more years. RBG waited too long to pass her torch, and look what happened. It bothers me that Biden seems to think only he can “fix it” … who else do we know selling that line of thinking ??? Too late to change now, though … fingers crossed!

Your vote is precious to you. Give it to the person whose record tells you where their heart is. Give it to the person who is a magnet attracting the most talented, dedicated, honest, and law abiding people in the world to work tirelessly for our nation. If you don’t want to vote for an elderly man, then vote for all the other things that the man is besides an old body.
You are only temporarily able bodied. But what you do with your body is the result of what you have in your heart and mind. If you cannot see the difference in the candidates by looking at their hearts and minds and what they have each accomplished with them, you are blind in more ways than one.
President Biden does not have the body of a 30 year old. But his heart and mind are the products of decades of experience and accomplishment a 30 year old can only dream about.
Resist being confused by your desires to see a knight slay the dragon. There is no knight even though there may be something that resembles a dragon. This is not that kind of movie.

He was tired - it was late... his team had been over-playing it and drilling numbers when he should have been Presidenting and rested up, like he was all day today in 3 full-on stump speeches in 3 States!
Remember that Obama didn’t do so well in his first debate against Mitt Romney & he still ended up winning the election.
There was a night at Valley Forge when some people were discouraged.
