Really good piece today, Oliver. MAGAmericans rarely understand the words they shout, or the historical significance of those words. They even call democrats‘fascists,’ simply because it sounds derogatory. I’m afraid trumpism will be with us for at least a generation.

Too bad the people with the most to loose in this election are the ones that support the one that will take it all away from them: Ignorant white males and their devoted spouses.
Not one of them is brave enough to look at what happened to the people that supported the despots after the despot took control of their country.
They won’t even look at the people who supported Trump during his term as President and what happened to them and the January 6 insurrectionists.
The Orange boy (he hasn’t grown up, nor can he) reminds me of how my grammar school antisemitic kids tortured me. I object to him because nobody should be treated that way.

Your visual tutorial and subsequent article laid the truth on the line, in my opinion. How I wish voters of all stripes would have the opportunity to read this. You are doing exemplary work. I’m glad I subscribed to your site. I hope to see more from you soon before it’s too late.
In the meantime, I would highly recommend that you search for Er Ist Vieder Da on YouTube. It is a German film with subtitles which illustrates that Hitler never dies. Funny, well acted, with high production values and scary as shit!

Similarly, MAGA and most Republicans slander “liberal” while not knowing what it means. The political term grew out of the American revolution and our founding documents. “Liberal” fundamentally means the belief that the people should be free and that the government belongs to the people. Hello! So who is opposed to that? Fascists, Nazis, and dictators!

WW2 ended about 80 years ago, and there are still Neo-Nazis in Germany who think Hitler was awesome, and they still repeat his fascist lies today.
