What happens? We kick the shit out of Donald Trump and his lunatic crew. We reclaim our democracy. We watch them crawl back under their rocks. All we gotta do now is vote our hearts.
Suggest Gov. Cooper from NC to be VP. He’s term limited in NC. Has executive branch experience. He’s not from CA. And NC is an important state in this election.
Keep in mind that most of the racist and sexist voters were already voting for Trump. Having a Black female as our nominee is not the liability we might think and is, in fact, possibly a big plus. Kamala Harris will likely energize the younger voting base to get to the polls - one big key to a Democratic victory. By the way, what are the odds Trump cancels the second debate?

I'd trust Tricky Dick over Jabba the Trump, the GOPs chosen Antichrist. Even after Nixon left the WH, people on both sides had respect for his diplomacy & knowledge. They could overlook the odious taint of Watergate & even ordering the bombing of Cambodia. If Armageddon / WW 3 took place, the one good thing to come from it would be the thought of Trump vanishing in a cloud of radioactive dust, although it's widely believed that COCKROACHES can survive a nuclear war & the aftermath.
For all those who said previously that they supported the President and felt he was wise, etc., etc., then support the wisdom of endorsing Kamala Harris as the person to whom he would pass the torch. This is the year when women's rights are on the ballot in a big way. Who better, then, to have at the top of the ticket than a woman.
VP pick will be hotly debated, I'm sure. I, personally, vote for Mark Kelly. He is in a state that has a Democratic governor and will be replaced by another Democrat in the Senate. I heard him speak recently concerning the candidacy of Joe Biden. He was thoughtful, and spoke well. I do not want a governor. We need someone who has experience in dealing with Congress in some way and has contacts there, also. Would love to hear other options.
Biden took us as far as he could. I don't believe that he left the campaign over pressure, but because he decided it was best.
What we do now is stand behind Harris, and be vocal in our support. We know what the GOP will throw at her, and we have to respond better than we did to the racism aimed at Obama.
